The MPC-S500 Series is a new generation PCIe NVMe SSD controller ideally suited for small form factor and low-power client SSDs. The PCIe Gen 4 interface provides 16GT/s x4 lanes bandwidth, coupled with four NAND flash channels up to 1,600 MT/s data rate per channel. The MPC-S500 Series is optimized for DRAM-less application with the new system bus architecture and Host Memory Buffer (HMB) Benefited from the innovative 4K LDPC error-correction technologies, the MPC S500 Series enhances comprehensive data integrity and upgrades correction capability for the latest 3D TLC and QLC NAND without compromising throughput and latency. With the highly integrated hardware and software that take full advantage of high bandwidth from PCIe Gen4 and NAND flash interface, and the new controller architecture and process, the MPC-S500 Series delivers superior sequential/random performance, robust reliability, and accelerating customer development for the next generation Client SSD.
